Episode 106: The Midyear Check-In You Actually Need

In this episode, I’m sharing a different way to think about the halfway point of the year. If you’ve been focused on what hasn’t happened yet or where you thought you’d be by now, this is your reminder to pause, zoom out, and ask better questions.

Instead of measuring progress by goals alone, I want to invite you to think about who you want to be by the end of the year and how you want to feel when you get there.

This kind of midyear check-in is about recalibrating. It's about aligning your energy and decisions with the version of you you're becoming, not the version of you who set those goals back in January.

WHAT WE’LL COVER:

✔️ Why goals matter, but direction matters more

✔️ The question that can reset your entire second half of the year

✔️ How to use feeling as a compass instead of an afterthought

✔️ The mindset shift that opens you up to new possibilities

✔️ A simple way to recalibrate your next steps from the inside out

Journal Prompt:

It’s December 31, 2025. I feel proud of how I showed up this year. I feel grounded in who I’ve become. Here’s what I focused on, what I let go of, and how I feel in my body, heart, and mind...

BONUS AI PROMPT:

Copy this prompt and paste it into ChatGPT or your fave AI tool. Remember, the more context you provide about yourself and your situation, the more robust results you’ll receive.

I walk you through how to do this in my free Reimagine Your Life guide.

“Act as a reflective journaling coach. I want to do a midyear check-in and make the second half of 2025 feel more aligned and intentional. Here’s where I’ve been feeling stuck, stretched, or unclear: [insert your situation]. Help me reflect on who I want to be by the end of the year and how I want to feel when I get there. Then help me brainstorm 3 specific shifts or choices I could make that align with that version of me.”
